Rituals
Rituals are not always the formal 'ritualized' affairs that we envision them, but they are a necessary part of a magickal lifestyle. Why? Because the symbolism of a ritual, even the most basic, speaks to our subconscious mind, our Younger Self. The meditative aspects of simple rituals allow us to communicate with the Lord and Lady and work magick.
When casting spells is not the only time when I perform a ritual. I perform rituals to recognize the turning of the wheel, to honour the Lord and Lady, even to mark important changes in life.
